About Me

Albert Schram, Ph.D.: Albert Schram is an economic historian from Italy and the Netherlands, and former Vice-Chancellor of the Papua New Guinea University of Technology. He now teaches business management, marketing, economics, social sciences, humanities, and entrepreneurship at both secondary and university level. He and his wife lived for six years in Papua New Guinea, a beautiful country north of Australia, and a year in Singapore. He holds a master's degree from the University of Utrecht and a PhD in European economic history from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. His doctoral thesis on the origins of the Italian railways was published as a book by Cambridge University Press.
